WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The US could be prepared to carry talks with Iran if the European Union prolonged an invite, a senior U.S. official mentioned on Thursday, sketching out a potential diplomatic path to revive the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.
“We’re prepared to point out up if such a gathering had been to happen,” the official informed Reuters, talking on situation of anonymity, after talks among the many U.S., British, French and German overseas ministers. Earlier, a senior EU official mentioned he was ready to convene such a gathering among the many events to the deal: Britain, China, France, Germany, Russia and the USA.
