Man Arrested, Charged After Woman’s Remains Found in Detroit | Michigan News


DETROIT (AP) — A 47-year-old man has been arrested after a Livingston County girl’s stays have been discovered in Detroit.

Dowan Knighton was arraigned Sunday on mutilation of a useless physique, concealing the loss of life of a person and tampering with proof, the Wayne County prosecutor’s workplace mentioned.

The stays of Kayla Pierce, 29, have been discovered Thursday at an undisclosed location. Knighton was arrested on the scene, in response to the prosecutor’s workplace.

Pierce was reported lacking Nov. 24 by her mom. Her loss of life stays below investigation.

Knighton has a Feb. 25 possible trigger convention.

Livingston County is northwest of Detroit.
