Nursing Home Employee Accused of Sexual Contact With Patient | South Carolina News

SUMTER, S.C. (AP) — A South Carolina nursing dwelling worker has been arrested after officers say he tried to interact in sexual contact with a affected person.

Towodi Shequoyah, 36, has been charged with third-degree legal sexual conduct, WIS-TV reported.

Officers say one other worker on the facility in Sumter noticed Shequoyah within the 73-year-old girl’s room along with his pants down and his genitals uncovered. The worker then left the room and contacted the Sumter County Sheriff’s Workplace.

The sufferer was transported to an space hospital for an examination.

Shequoyah is being held on the Sumter County Sheriff’s Workplace Detention Middle. It was unknown if he has an lawyer who may converse on his behalf.
