Schools in Sikkim will reopen on Monday for pre-primary and first college students after a niche of 11 months with strict adherence to the COVID-19 protocol, the state authorities mentioned. Elementary Training and Samagra Shiksha Director Bhim Thatal issued a round directing all state-run, government- aided and personal colleges to reopen the academic establishments for LKG to class 5 college students.

Classroom educating for senior college students had began in a phased method within the Himalayan state from October. Schools had been closed since March final 12 months following outbreak of COVID-19.
